Edmund Davidson
I was born in the mountains near Goshen, Virginia in 1954 and grew up in the Home built by my Great Grand Father in 1886 and have resided there ever since.   In 1969 I was introduced to my first Loveless Hunting knives and never got over that introduction.  After a 7 1/2 year stent as a cross country over the road Trucker I started making knives in April of 1986 and have been at it full time ever since.

I joined the Knife Makers Guild in 1993 and am a current member. The type of fixed Blade knife that has taken me to this current level is the Integral. After making Integrals for over 22 years I have developed a style that is my own.   Knife Making has taken me into realms of human interest that I had never imagined, and the client base that I have developed is the best in the world.  I now have 323 patterns total and the creativity keeps on flowing, and I hope it never stops.

I feel we are in a time in Human history where we are afforded the opportunity to utilize materials never before offered Knife Making.  We also have the most talented knife makers ever in History and these makers will be seen at the first ever BAKC Show in 2010. We also have the most diverse group of knife collectors ever, and this is priceless.    Starting in 2005 Dr. David Darom started creating the book, " The Art of the Integral Knife ".  It was introduced in 2008 and took the Biography of an individual Artist to new heights.
